Gail Frances (nee Peterson) Pierce/Hightshoe

Gail Frances (nee Peterson) Pierce, later Hightshoe, 87, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2023 at Serenity Villa in Campbellsport. She was born on November 26, 1936 in Rice Lake. Gail was united in marriage to LeRoy Pierce on June 10, 1956 in Rice Lake. LeRoy preceded her in death on March 26, 1998. Gail was later married to John Hightshoe for 6 years until his passing on November 30, 2016.

Survivors include her children Kenneth (Janna) Pierce, David (Lucia) Pierce, Mitchell Pierce (Craig McDavitt), and Tamara (Jeffrey) Peak, 9 grandchildren Conni Wehausen (Tom Reynen), Joshua (Yolanda) Pierce, Richard Pierce, Jakan David (Victoria) Pierce, Natasha Pierce, Moriah (Joshua) Weyer, Christina (Brian) Wehner, Brenna (Scott) Davis, and Kate (fianceé Liz Henriksen) Peak, 8 great grandchildren Payton Reynen, Alexander Pierce, Lucas Pierce, Aidan Pierce, Kenny Pierce, Atticus Pierce, Scarlette Weyer, and Izabella Weyer, brother Les Stewart, other relatives, and friends.

Gail was preceded in death by her birth parents William and Josephine Stewart, her parents Charles and Ella Peterson, husband of 42 years LeRoy Pierce, husband of 6 years John Hightshoe, brother Douglas Stewart, and great grandson Lucas Weyer.

Private family services will be held with her final resting place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
