Georgia A. Dahlberg

Georgia A. Dahlberg, 82, passed away on June 6, 2026 at the Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 3, 1944 in Neenah, Wisconsin to Howard and Florence “Marie” Campbell. She was adopted at age 3 by Silas and Lucille (Schroeder) Skaug.

Georgia attended Bible College in Missouri, was a nurse’s aide, and loved the Lord above all else. She enjoyed tending to her garden and cooking delicious meals for her family. Georgia had a soft spot for animals and could never say no to stray (specifically the ones her kids brought home).

Georgia was a loving wife, the best mom, and a proud grandma to eight grandchildren. She liked to attend the grandkids’ various activities and if she couldn’t be there in person, she’d be sure to watch it on YouTube.

Georgia will be dearly missed by her husband of 54 years, Raymond; children Mindi (Scott) Bengel, Letti (Ray) Stiel, Bethene (Joe Goblirsch) Dahlberg, Ryan (Laura) Dahlberg; grandchildren Ashlynn, Brenna, Ella, Reese, Cooper, Dillion, Carson, and Sylas; sister Carol (David) Butzlaff; her loyal companion, Gabbi; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Georgia was preceded in death by her biological parents and her adopted parents, her sister Janet (David) Wojahn and her sister Barbara, as well as many members of her husband’s family.

Georgia’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 12:00 PM. Georgia will be laid to rest at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.

Georgia’s family would like to give a special thank you to the SSM Cancer Team, the Hospice Home of Hope staff, and all of the doctors and nurses involved in her care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hospice Home of Hope.
