Gertrude “Trudy” Bahr

Gertrude “Trudy” Bahr, 80, passed away at her home peacefully on April 28, 2026. Trudy was born to Alma and Joseph Seurer on July 5, 1945, in Fond du Lac. She graduated from St. Mary’s Springs High School.

On May 14, 1966, Trudy married Jack R. Bahr at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mt. Calvary, WI.

Trudy was employed at Wells Manufacturing and All About Life Rehab Center during her working career. She was an avid Milwaukee Brewers Fan, watching every game she could. She enjoyed reading her books, casino trips and bird watching around her home. Trudy and Jack loved to attend many car shows together. Most of all, Trudy cherished her time with friends and family.

Trudy is survived by her granddaughter, Kaylee Bahr; great-granddaughter, Kamilah Bahr; nieces and nephews, Carol, Linda, Jeff, Earl, David, Audrey, Deb, and Karen; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack; her son, Bryan; her beloved sister, Charlotte (Othmar) Abler; and sister-in-law, Janet (Don) Norenberg.

Services will be on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Calvary Mausoleum Chapel, 686 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. Visitation will begin 10:00 AM with a Liturgy of the Word Service starting at 11:00 AM.
