Helen M. Rohlinger

Helen M. Rohlinger, 83, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira. She was born on September 8, 1933 in the Town of Ashford, the daughter of Irving and Marie (Jirik) Dieringer. 



On September 12, 1953, Helen married Eugene C. Rohlinger at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport. 



During her high school years, Helen was a nanny and bakery clerk at Bertotti Bakery in Campbellsport. Helen graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1951 and upon graduation she lived in Milwaukee and worked for Title Guarantee Company. 



Her other careers included working as a secretary for Vande Zande Insurance Company, and for Elwing Mfg, both in Campbellsport. 



She and her husband also spent 2 years operating Gene & Helen’s Bar (Brown Jug) in Mount Calvary. 



She was a member of the St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and was an officer for their Christian Women Society. 



Helen enjoyed playing cards, going gambling, taking vacations, and watching Judge Judy. 





Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter Linda Zehren, her grandchildren Travis (Katie) Zehren of Stillwater, MN and Melissa (Tim) Ludowissi of Jackson, her sister Rose Hackbarth of Fond du Lac, her brothers Henry (Eileen) Dieringer of Germantown and John (Jan) Dieringer of Campbellsport, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Clarence Seibel, Norman Menke, Marian (John) Karoses, Lucille Bassill, Alice (Lee) Carpenter, Daniel (Donna) Rohlinger, Therese Rohlinger, Rose (Roger) Ramthun and Joan (Syl) Neis, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 



Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene on Oct. 16, 2007, her son Ron, her son-in-law Gary Zehren, her sisters Ruth Menke and Loraine Seibel, and brothers-in-law Syl Bassill and Lester Hackbarth. 



Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 5th at 6:00 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church (406 E. Main St. Campbellsport). 



Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will be in St. Mathews Cemetery. 



Visitation will be Friday, May 5th from 3:00 PM until time of Mass at the church. 











In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to St. Matthew Cemetery Fund.
