Jack P. Miller

Jack P. Miller passed away on May 18, 2026 at SSM Health Hospital at the age of 66. He was born July 28, 1959, a son of Jack and Elaine (Schumacher) Miller.

He entered the world, brother to Ron and sister Rose, and eventually became big brother to Bob, Sue, Nancy and Roger – a role he cherished.

Jack graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in political science. Jack was always up to a political debate with his family and friends.

He spent his teen years working on the farm being an active boy scout at Sacred Heart Church and dreaming of trips to the Rocky Mountains, which he took many with family and friends. Jack spent many years working as a kitchen manager and cook where he met many friends. He retired early from Tecumseh Engine in 2003, due to a diagnosis of a neuromuscular disease with which he lived for 23 years.

Jack is survived by siblings Bob Miller, Nancy Dawson and Roger Miller, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to Jack’s sister, Nancy Dawson and Jack’s niece, Andrea Dawson, for all the loving care and assistance provided to Jack through his last years. Finally, deep appreciation is extended to Rob and Laura Henderson, Jack’s neighbors and friends for many years. Their friendship and support was instrumental in Jack’s quality of life.

A private service is being held by the family.
