Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Deanovich

Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Deanovich, 74, a resident of Fond du Lac, passed away at home with her loving
family at her side, on September 19, 2023.
She was born December 10, 1948 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late Norbert C. and Evelyn (Pickart)
Schneider.
On June 29, 1968 she married Paul W. Deanovich at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fond du Lac.
Jackie was a 1967 graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School. She ran an in-home daycare and was later
employed at Fleet Farm where she held numerous positions including receiving and customer service.
Jackie spent many hours at the ice rink watching her children and grandchildren play hockey. She was
also involved in Healing Paws where she would visit nursing homes and walk in parades with her
beloved dog Rooney. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Parish.
Survivors include her daughter, Dawn (Gary) Lakin; her son Dean (Joscelyn) Deanovich, all of Fond du Lac
and five grandchildren, Samantha and Jessica Lakin, both of Parker, CO, Drew, Dayne and Drake
Deanovich, of Fond du Lac. She is also survived by her favorite fur children Baron and Mickey. Jackie is
further survived by her siblings Ron (Mary) Schneider, of Brothertown, Russell (Jeanne) Schneider, of
Mt. Calvary, Roque Schneider, of Fond du Lac, Rory (Reine) Schneider, of Fond du Lac, Rodger (Jean )
Schneider, of Lamartine, Janice (Ken) Nett, of Charlesburg, Jerolyn Carter, of Fond du Lac, Julie (Wilbur)
Sparks, of Campbellsport, Joelene Broennimann, of Fond du Lac and Martha Schneider of Taycheedah;
brothers and sisters-in-law John Deanovich, Jim Deanovich and Howard (Colleen) Deanovich, Jean
Polakoski, all of Fond du Lac, Susan (Duane) Wetzel, of Ripon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul “Deano”, her parents, mother and father-inlaw Paul and Bernice Deanovich, siblings Randy and Rick Schneider, Joyetta (Gerry) Nett, sisters-in-law
Vicki Schneider and Sharon Deanovich, brothers-in-law Willie Carter and Robert Jacobs.
Jackie’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Friday, September 22, 2023 at
Zacherl Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, September 23,
2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held at
a later date at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Blue Line Family Ice Center.
