JANE MARIE VAN ETTA

Beautiful daughter of Dorothy Mae and William Robert passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2024, surrounded by her family. Jane will be dearly missed by her children Michael John (Nadra), Andrea Christine (Jon), and Matthew Robert (Toni). Her loving sisters Jo (Gary) who proceeded her in passing, Jill Lizbeth (Tim), and Jean Margaret will miss one heck of a “spoons” player. She is survived by her grandchildren Leon Morgan, Gabriel Kaleb (Rhiannon), Noah William (Zack), Phoebe Christine, Olivia Antoinette, Amanda, Samantha, and Ophelia. Jane was also fortunate enough to share her life with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Momma is what I called her, but she was much more than that. She was “The World’s Best” Nana to my children Gabriel, Noah, Phoebe, and Olivia. “Anna Girl” (her superhero monicker) by her great grandchildren Roseanne Christine and Magnus Alan. “Dear Friend” to her neighbors and coworkers.

She spent the last 15 years with “the love of her life” Kelly living in Muscoda, WI. There Jane and Kelly created a beautiful life together that included starting a farm raising highlander cattle which she absolutely loved. The peace and tranquility along with the wildlife brought her great joy. A piece of her will always remain on that 132 acres she helped cultivate and loved so much.

Last names have not been used; this is because you know who you are. You know the fierceness in which she loved each of you. The feel of her hugs and gentle kisses on your faces are most certainly already dearly missed.

A life well lived is filled with joy and love. Life is a gift, love is a gift, and when both are bestowed upon you, you have a life well lived. Evidence of a life well lived is found in those who love you. The legacy of love Jane left is all the proof you need.

Jane Marie Van Etta, you truly had a life well lived.

Celebration of Life to be held on May 25th, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at my home.
