John L. Freund

John L. Freund, age 71, of North Fond du Lac, died Monday, February 13, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on October 19, 1951, in Fond du Lac, the son of Gerald and Harietta (Bernard) Freund. On July 7, 1973, he married Patricia Muehlius at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. John worked at Brenner Tank until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, and going to family sporting events with his daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; his children, Matthew Freund, Ashley (Eric Bresser) Freund; four grandchildren, Dylan and Blake Bresser, Wyatt and Miles Danor; his siblings, Roger (Jackie) Freund, Barb (Don) Hayes, Jim Freund, Cathy Freund; sister-in-law, Katherine Davies; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Lester and Dorothy Muehlius; brother-in-law, Lyle Davies.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 1-2 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place following the visitation at the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
