Joe owned his own flooring installation business for more than 30 years – known as ‘Joe the Carpet Man’. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hockey and time at the family cottage. He could often be found in his yard with his hostas, wood-working in his workshop, and re-furbishing old furniture. Joe had a big heart. He was generous to everyone he met and a good listener. He was loyal to his family and friends and loved to spend his time talking, story-telling and simply being with those he loved.

He was best known as Papa Joe by all that loved him, especially his granddaughters who adored him. He had pride in the life he built. We will forever miss his laugh, stories and the invaluable lessons he taught us in bringing joy, love and care to all around him.
