Kathleen was an avid chef, quilter and crafter. She opened a fabric and quilting shop, Wool & Needle, with her friend Suzy Peterson Letourneau in downtown Fond du Lac. She had a passion for arts and crafts and would teach anyone willing to learn. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with those she loved, cooking the most amazing food, hand-dyeing wool, gardening, canning, and having her family and friends over on the porch to rock and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake DeNevue. Her biggest joy was watching all her babies grow and play, from her children to her great grandchildren.
A devoted fiancé, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, Kathleen was always taking care of everyone who crossed her path. You would never leave her house with an empty stomach. Her big heart was known to all; she gave us all a gift we know we can never repay. To know her was to love her. May she fly with her eagles and watch over us all.
Kathleen’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hospice Home of Hope in Kathleen’s name.
