Kathy Lousie Mentink

Kathy Lousie Mentink, 72, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 2, 1952, in Madison, the daughter of James and Beverly (Breiby) Fish. Kathy had many talents including bowling. For several years, she was part of the women’s all star team and later the senior team. One of her most memorable achievements was being selected to bowl against the legendary professional bowler Walter Ray Williams Jr. In a stunning display of her talent, Kathy came incredibly close to defeating him, losing by only a single pin.

When summer would come, Kathy would enjoy her other favorite hobby of being on the golf course. She had the pleasure of golfing with many special groups of friends throughout the years.

But above all else, Kathy cherished the moments spent with her family especially on the chain of lakes in Manitowish Waters. For 51 years straight, Kathy adored this precious time in a place that held a special spot in her heart.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Scott of 51 years; three children, Tyler, Brett (Katie) and Chelsea; six grandchildren, Baron, Breahna, Madden, Lawson, Mya and Ramsey.
