Kim M. Moss

Kim M. Moss, 54, passed away at UW Hospital surrounded by her family on May 13, 2021. She was born in Milwaukee on June 11, 1966 to Lester and Sharon (Ochs) Weiler.

Kim married Rexallen Moss on January 3, 1995 and celebrated the marriage with friends and family on October 21, 1995.

Kim enjoyed playing sudoku, watching Hallmark movies and listening to Reba McEntire. She was very family-oriented. Kim had a welcoming spirit, with an open-door policy for any family member or friend. She was often heard saying, “If you go home hungry, it’s your own, damn fault.”

Kim spent a lot of time volunteering at Rosenow Elementary and it was one of her favorite things to do. The Rosenow teachers and staff became part of her family.

Kim is survived by her husband Rex, three daughters Tabitha (Sal) Lazaro, Allysa Moss and Kayli Moss, son Jason Haeuser, grandson Hayden Lazaro and grandmother Eva Ochs. She is further survived by siblings Jeanne (Don) Cahala, Carrie (Keith) Jahnke, Eve (Mike) Swenson, Liz (Michael) Weiler, Victor (Karen) Weiler, and John Peter “J.P.” (Kala) Weiler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Micah, Brooklyn and Ethan Lazaro, grandfather Carl Ochs and her beloved dog Sophie.

SERVICES: Kim’s family invites relatives and friends for a visitation at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street. Fond du Lac on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. The family asks that you honor Kim by wearing her favorite color, purple.
