Laurie Ann Buechel

Laurie Ann Buechel, 40, of Fond du Lac passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at home.

She was born October 16, 1972 in Libertyville, IL a daughter to James Atwell and Alice Wanek Atwell.

On May 28, 2008 she married Ken Buechel in Fond du Lac.

Laurie was a 1990 graduate of Antioch High School in Illinois.  After graduation, she attended UW Parkside in Kenosha and received her Bachelors in Political Science.

Laurie enjoyed cake decorating, crafting, collecting bears and especially spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband Ken; her two children: Eric Atwell and Brittany Reading; her parents James (Rosemarie) Atwell and Alice Atwell; her father in law and mother in law, Herman (Janet) Buechel; her sister Michelle (Jim) Anderson; four brothers in law: Sean Graham, Dennis (Tracy) Buechel, Patrick (Gina) Buechel and Steven (Keri) Buechel; two sisters in law: Karen (Scott) Miller and Cindy (Peter) Holzman; also by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son Ronald Reading III and her sister Tina Graham.

Visitation:  Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday May 24, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St.

Services:  A Funeral Service will be held at Zacherl Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 pm.  Rev. Jeff Blain will officiate.  Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Kenosha County.

Memorials in her name may be directed to a charity of ones choice.
