Linda M. Carter

Linda M. Carter, 73, of De Pere, passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident on Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born July 7, 1951 in Green Bay to Leo and Rose (Colavitti) Ault. 

a Graduate of Green Bay West, she was married to Michael Carter in 1979. She was most recently employed by Toys R Us and Shopko Optical until her retirement.  

She enjoyed any sort of craft project. She also enjoyed her time in Silver Cliff spending the summers on the pontoon. Recently she and Mike would travel to state parks for fun. 

Linda will be dearly missed by her husband Michael Carter; Sons Brian (Sabina), Jerry (Brenda) grandchildren Kelsey, Kincaid and Kennedy and great grandson Jonah. She is further survived by her mother, Rose, siblings Lonza (Pat), Karen, Douglas (Kim), Brenda (Ted) and Robin. Numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her closest Aunt, Kathy Colavitti. 

A special thanks to Mark (Jackie) Burkel and Debbie (Dave) Berndt for their support during this difficult time and the gift of their mother, Aunt Mary Burkel, who also passed as a result of the accident.  

Linda was preceded in death by her father, brother Steven Ault, brother-in-law Hank Burkel and mother and father in law. 

SERVICES: Visitation will be held May 8 from 4 to 7 pm at the Fond du Lac Yacht Club
