Margery E. Loehndorf
Margery “Marge” E. Loehndorf
(Smith) passed away December 23, 2017, at the age of 89, at Hospice Home of
Hope in
and her brothers Fulton and Richard preceded her in death. She was succeeded by her husband Al, their five
children David (Trina), Steve (Doreen), Mary Burkee (Jim), Mark (Sherrie), and
Ann Grygleski (Scott), her sister Jean Hartman (Grant), eleven grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Marge was a lower elementary
teacher in Racine, Shawano, Madison and
fifteen years enjoying most of all her selling of Clinique products. She volunteered many years at the gift shop
in
As a member of the Covenant
United Methodist Church of Fond du Lac, she was instrumental in leading many
excursions for parishioners. Places such
as Rawhide, The Crane Foundation, Samaritan’s Purse, a Green Dale Publishing
Company, and others were her inspiration.
Travel was an on-going love: exploring
destinations. When not traveling, she
loved to walk in her eight acres of woods, looking for wild flowers, deer, wild
turkeys, birds and other dwellers of nature.
Marge will be cremated and
her ashes will be scattered in
favorite places.
On December 30, 2017 and
informal memorial by family and friends will be held just prior to a
luncheon. Guests are welcome to attend
at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Room at
charity of one’s choosing or The Heifer Project.
