Marsha Lynne Christian
Marsha Lynne Christian, 68, passed away on December 16, 2023 in Fond du Lac surrounded by her family. She was born in Waupun to Edwin “Bud” and Marjorie (Reminger) Zillmer on October 8, 1955. Marsha graduated from Waupun High School.
She married Douglas Christian on March 8, 1975 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun. Douglas passed away on July 29, 2016.
Marsha was employed as a medical transcriptionist for 33 years at Consultant’s Laboratory, a job she loved. She was an avid Badgers, Brewers and Packers fan.
God blessed Marsha with an incredible sense of humor. Anytime she could pull a prank on a family member or friend, she would. Marsha was also a big fan of reality T.V. shows and in recent years, she picked up crocheting again, something she loved doing in her younger years.
Marsha enjoyed spending time with her family. She made many beautiful memories traveling near and far, with her sisters and nieces. Marsha’s grandchildren were her entire world. She was a very loving grandmother. Marsha had a big heart and would go out of her way to help others. She will be missed deeply.
Marsha is survived by her children Jason Christian, Dustin Christian and Amber Christian; grandchildren Andres “Asher” Christian, Alan Christian and Trinity Christian; mother Marjorie Zillmer and siblings Carol Jansen, Beverly (Dennis) Heft, Michael (Rita) Zillmer and Donald Zillmer and a special furbaby, Blue.
She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas and father Bud.
SERVICES: Marsha’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Thursday, December 21st at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac at 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will begin at Noon, officiated by Pastor David Haugly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
