Mary Ann A. Flood

Mary Ann A. Flood, 83, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026 at St. Francis Home. She was born November 20, 1942 to Alex and Loretta (Weber) Bertram in Fond du Lac.
Mary Ann was a woman who always had something going on. Her time was never idle. She kept plenty busy starting with mastering the accordion in high school. After graduation, she enjoyed coordinating many grade school and high school class reunions.
Mary Ann loved to lead. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, an active member in the Elks Club where she was the auxiliary photographer, PTO, Round Table, and the Senior Center Chime Bells. Mary Ann was generous with her time. She volunteered as an election official, serving as a chairman for 8 years, volunteered at the Fond du Lac Dream Catchers and the Galloway House.
She was always present. Mary Ann never missed a musical, a ball game, or the opportunity to love on her family. She loved to cheer on Wisconsin teams, no matter the sport. Knowing her family tree was important, Mary Ann liked to study her family’s history and make records for the future family generations.
Mary Ann opened her home to everyone. She never knew a stranger and made everyone feel loved. Despite health challenges, she remained positive and smiled through it all. She was crafty and creative. Her homemade Christmas cards were highly anticipated and a treat to look forward to every year.
Mary Ann’s life was deeply rooted in faith. She attended St. Mary’s Springs Academy for both grade school and high school graduating in 1961. Mary Ann attended Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2nd pew from the left.
Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her children Christine (Patrick) Sesing, Karen (Bill Goral) Kollmann, Daniel (Sabrina) Flood; grandchildren Alex, Kevin, Matthew, Alison, and Riley; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
