Michael Dan Hoerner

Michael Dan Hoerner, age 59, of Fond du Lac, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 18, 2021

Mike was born on September 10, 1962 to John and Jean (nee Jewett) Hoerner in Saginaw, Michigan. He loved football, especially his Detroit Lions. Mike will be remembered as a man who loved spending time with his family.

Mike is survived by his mother, Jean Carter; his lovie of 25 years, Iris Mann; three children, Victor (Michelle) Cavazos, Valerie (Moises) Ortega-Vargas, and Cindy Lou (special son-in-law Anthony) Green; eight grandchildren, Xavier, Justice Adrian, Damion, Noah, Christopher, Stephanie, and Izabella; and two great-grandchildren, Emmara and “his adorable one” Kairo. He is further survived by a sister, Johanna Morgan; two brothers, Jeffery Hoerner and Jason (Rusti) Hoerner; a sister-in-law, Rosa Sanchez; nieces and nephews, Daniel (Yenny) Morgan, Christopher Morgan, Zachary Morgan, Jacquelina Hoerner, Louis (Nick Roos) Hoerner, Jacob Hoerner, Zach Hoerner, and Aaron Comstock; and best friends, Jim Wrona and Dave McCormick.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, John Louis Hoerner II; and his brother, John Louis Hoerner III.

A graveside service in remembrance of Mike is being planned for a later date.
