Patricia A. Kraus
Patricia A. Kraus, 61, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born August 11, 1951, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Russell and Dorothy Kennedy Corbett. Patty was a 1969 graduate of Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac. On October 21, 1972, she married Robert F. Kraus at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. From 2005 to the present, she served as the Register of Deeds of Fond du Lac County. Among Patty’s varied interests were collecting teddy bears, watching sporting events, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and her grandson. She was a great mother and beautiful wife, and always was kind and giving to her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Robert, a brother, David Corbett of Madison, two daughters, Angela (Mark) Samman of Milwaukee, and Lisa Kraus of Fond du Lac, her grandson, Zachary Samman of Milwaukee, and her father and mother-in-law, Wilbert and Lillian Kraus of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends. Her parents preceded her in death.
Visitation for Patricia A. Kraus will be on Thursday, June 6, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Friday, June 7th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family Parish, 678 Western Avenue, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the church on Friday. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date.
