Patricia Ann Etheridge

Patricia Ann Etheridge of Fond du Lac, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 with her family at her side at St. Francis Terrace. She was born to Peter and Olive Weyer on August 26, 1930 in Fond du Lac. She attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from St. Mary’s Springs Academy in 1948. Patricia married Robert D. Etheridge at St. Mary’s Church on June 21, 1952. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2011.

Mrs. Etheridge was formerly employed as a Customer Service Representative at Wisconsin Telephone Company. She was a volunteer receptionist at Catholic Social Services for 10 years and also a volunteer at the Family Resource Center.

Patricia was a member of Holy Family Parish. She was a member of the Holy Family Christian Women and the Prayer Shawl Ministry at the parish. Patricia was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, and the St. Clare Stitchery Club.

Survivors include her children, Barbara (Donald) Anders of Wautoma, Catherine Etheridge of Menasha, and Thomas (Dr. Amy Sheldon) Etheridge of Kaukauna. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, her 7 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Rosemary Weyer, Lucille (Arthur) Rapp, sisters-in-law Avis Etheridge, Arlene Fritz, Idris (Ralph) Michaels, brothers-in-law Bruce (Millie) Etheridge, and Norman (Maxine and Ruby) Etheridge.

Patricia’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Monday, June 17, 2024 at St. Francis Home Chapel from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Vincent DePaul Society or an organization of your choice.

Patricia’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at St. Clare Terrace and St. Francis Terrace for their kind and compassionate care over the last eight years.
