Patricia D. “Ma/Pat” Moses

Patricia D. “Ma/Pat” Moses, 80, of Fond du Lac, was born to eternal life on Friday, July 21, 2023 following a brief illness. She was born November 18, 1942, to Richard and Loretta (Fleischman) Zehren in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

On October 14, 1961 she married James R. Moses.

Along with her husband Jim, she became a business woman and together they owned and operated Moses Complete Foods on Merrill Avenue, Ma and Pa’s on the Miracle Mile, and Philly’s on Fourth.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Jim; loving children Gena (Michael) Mueller and Phil (Lisa) Moses; loving grandchildren Matt (Maggie) Moses, Katie (Tyler) Beckman, Anna Patricia Kraus, Luke, Al, Meghan, and Max Mueller; great grandchildren Madelyn, Myles, Charlie, Jack, and Zaria. She is further survived by siblings Jeanette Wehner, Richard (Janet) Zehren, Harvey Zehren; sisters-in-law Arlis Moses, Karen Moses, and Claudia Zehren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law Mary and Michael Moses; sister Delores (Gordon) Giebel; brothers Sylvester, Cornelius, and James Zehren; brothers-in-law Howard Wehner, Herbert Moses, and John Moses; and sisters-in-law Patricia Pfarr and Pat Zehren.

Per Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private celebration of life will be held.
