Patrick J. Engebretson

Patrick J. Engebretson, 74, died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at his residence in Fond du Lac. He was born in Menominee, WI on October 9, 1940, a son of George and Ester (Peabody) Engebretson. On June 23, 1964, he married Genevieve Berry in Hensel, North Dakota. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2002.



Pat worked at Hallmark Drywall most of his life until retirement in 2001. He was then involved with Engies Beer & Liquor with his son and daughter. Pat enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. 



He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (George Heimbuch, III) Engebretson and son Patrick (Michelle) Engebretson; five grandchildren, Patrice (Karl), Patricia, Laura, Jennifer, Patrick; and great-granddaughter, Genevieve. Further surviving are four brothers; Richard (Peg), William (Jeanie), Jerry (Marilyn), and Ronald (Marge); and a dear friend of the family, Bryan Ruch. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and a brother, John.



Visitation for Pat will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac and again at Uecker-Witt on Saturday, the 30th, from 9:30 AM until the time of service. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM with Deborah K. Hutterer officiating. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, in Fond du Lac.
