Ralph B. Schneider

Ralph B. Schneider, 96, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the Woodlands Senior Park. Ralph was born on January 8, 1928 in Mt. Calvary to Joseph and Rosa (Kraus) Schneider.

On October 6, 1951 Ralph was united in marriage to Marian C. Hochrein at St. Mary Catholic Church, Fond du Lac.

Ralph was a member and usher for Holy Family Parish and a member of Knights of Columbus. He loved spending time with his family and polka dancing with his wife. He enjoyed Hut night with his family and friends.

Ralph is survived by his five children, Thomas (Linda) of Fond du Lac, Terry of North Fond du Lac, Pat “Trish” (special friend, Alan Doyle) Reilly of Rochester, MN, Gary (Ann) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Kevin (Kari) of Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Ebertz; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Marian; his parents; infant son, Timothy John; brother-n-law, Alex Ebertz; siblings, Clarence (Irene) Schneider, Edwin (Leona) Schneider, Wally (Bernice) Schneider, Claude (Margie) Schneider, Edna (Cletus) Hochrein, Mildred (Orville) Haensgen, Erna (James) Halbach, Harvey Schneider, and Ottie (Rosie) Schneider.

SERVICES: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 11:15 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Road, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:30 AM at Holy Family. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Woodlands and SSM Hospice for their excellent care of Ralph.
