Rosanna Clara Roehrig
Rosanna Clara Roehrig, 93, died June 16, 2023, at Frontida Adelaide Place. Rosanna, often called Rose or Rosie, was born January 15, 1930, to the late William and Martha Buechel Krebsbach. On November 24, 1951, she married Lloyd Roehrig at St. Mary’s Church in Stockbridge, WI.
Her early years on the family farm in Quinney WI, led to a life as wife, mother and friend in St. Peter where she raised six children with her husband Lloyd. Rosanna was active in the St. Peter Catholic Church Christian Mothers. She shared her talents as an excellent seamstress, along with creations from her knitting, crocheting and embroidering passions. Rose enjoyed playing bingo and sheepshead, often sharing a hearty giggle when victory arrived.
Survivors include her children, Robert (Sandi) Roehrig of St. Peter, Carol (Fred Seipp) of Dallas TX, David (Brenda) Roehrig of Kewaskum WI, Janet (Mark) Ritzer of Atlanta, GA, Joan (Sven) Haug of Boulder, CO, and Allen (Kelly) Roehrig of Wildwood, MO. In addition, she leaves seven grandsons, three granddaughters, eight great grandchildren and sister-in-law Alice Stenz.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lloyd in 2003, parents Martha and William, sister Rita Endries (Gary), and brothers Erwin (Lucina), Cyril (Dorothy), Wilmer (Aurelia), and Elroy (Rosie) Krebsbach; In-laws Edna and Erwin Roehrig, Adeline Stephany (Ralph), Gladys Abler (Adie), Erwin Stenz.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery, 686 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow the service in the Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank Suzi Osier and the staff at Frontida Adelaide Place, as well as Heather S. and the Preceptor Home Health Hospice team, for blessing Rosanna and family with their kindness and care during her last days.
