Rosemary Emery

Rosemary Emery, 88, of Fond du Lac passed away Friday March 7, 2014 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born on March 28, 1925 in the Town of Marshfield, the daughter of Oscar and Irene Merten Knaus. On April 22, 1946, she married Raymond Emery at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. 

She enjoyed playing sheepshead and bingo. Also spending time with Bill Schaefer and eating cookies from his wife Jackie. 

Survivors include her daughters Kathy Whittaker and her husband Mel of Fond du Lac and Mary Nelson and her husband Monty of Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren Amy Davis Fisch and her husband Mike of Ripon, Lori Davis Miller and her husband Lenny of West Bend, and Justin Gannon and his wife Leslie of Phoenix, AZ, four great grandchildren Miles Fisch and Emery, Ellison and Eden Miller, sisters-in-law Alma Knaus, Carol Knaus, Eleanor Grainger and Marlene Emery and many nieces and nephews. 

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her daughter Janice Davis and her husband Marvin Davis, her parents Irene (Joseph) Schmitz and Oscar Knaus, her in-laws Louise and John Emery, her siblings Marjorie and Albert Hau, Marion and Reuben Koenigs, Leo and Valeria Knaus, Chester and Sally Knaus, and Antoinette and Norman Colsen and her in-laws Copeland Grainger, Catherine Osgood, Alex and Mary Emery and Edward Emery. 

Visitation will be Monday March 10, 2014 from 1:00 PM until time of services at Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac, WI. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with entombment to follow at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope.
