Ross Bechaud Petrie

Ross Bechaud Petrie passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, November 10, 2012.

Ross was the son of Walter and Elizabeth Bechaud Petrie.  He was born on August 20, 1912, in Fond du Lac, WI.

Ross graduated from the University of Michigan and The Amour School of Architecture in Chicago, IL.  Ross resided in the South Florida area for 50 years, at which time he designed homes, apartment buildings and hotels.  Ross travelled throughout Europe and the United States by train.  He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge 57.

Survivors include his nephews, Mark (Harriet) Martin and Quinn (Jane) Martin; grand nieces, Kimberly (David) Andersen and Elizabeth (Dan) Lynch and their children Elizabeth and Megan Andersen and Kevin, Maggie and Ashling Lynch; grand nephews, Quinn (Irene) Martin, William (fiancée, Stefanie Levner) Martin; cousin, Joan (Charles) Setser; and friends.

Ross was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth, and his sister, Marcia Martin.

Private services will be held at Rienzi Cemetery at a later date.
