Russell Robert Pieper

Russell Robert Pieper left this world into the arms of Jesus at the age of 69 on May 22, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Judy (Birschbach) Pieper for 35 years.

Russ was also survived by his brother, Michael (Nancy) Pieper; mother-in-law, Eileen Birschbach; brother-in-law Steve Birschbach (significant other, Diana Anderson); and sister-in law, Ann (Adam) Flanders; 3 nephews, 3 nieces, 6 great nephews and 4 great nieces.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Myron and Corinne Pieper; Brother, Scott Pieper; father-in-law, Lawrence Birschbach and brother-in-law, Scott Birschbach.

Russ’ life was a testament to the unwavering love for his wife Judy. Russ and Judy built a good life on a foundation of strength and love, and it was a life they would not trade for anything. It was the kind of life that grew stronger and more meaningful every day. Russ found joy in the simple things in life. His happiest moments were spent outdoors, whether he was fishing, hunting or just working in his yard.

Services: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. Memorial will follow visitation.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
