Ruth B. Gilgenbach

Ruth B. Gilgenbach, 97, formerly W 3675 Johnsburg Road, Town
of Calumet, passed away August 12, 2014 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

She was born May 2, 1917 in Johnsburg, a daughter of Steve
and Margaret (Beyer ) Koenigs.  Ruth
graduated from Fond du Lac High School.  She
was united in marriage to Hubert A. Gilgenbach on April 15, 1939 at St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg.

Ruth was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist
Catholic Church and a past president of St. John’s Altar Society.

Survivors include two daughters,  Ann Mertens (Rick Barthes) of Asheville, NC,
Mary (Jim) Rzepecki  of Beaverton, OR,
two sons, Hubert Jr. (Colleen) of Asheville, NC, and Lee (Kris) of Johnsburg,
four grandchildren Bridget Lehet, Nicholas Gilgenbach, and Kelsey and Sam
Rzepecki, a great granddaughter, Callie Wong, one sister, Bernice Stephany of Green
Bay, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert on
April 18, 2007 and a son-in-law, Al Mertens.

Cremation has taken place. 
Private family services will be in the Spring with inurnment of cremains
at St. Charles Cemetery.
