Ruth “Tootie” Albertz

Ruth “Tootie” Albertz, 94, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, February 12, 2026, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in North Fond du Lac on November 5, 1931, to Arnold, Sr. and Flora (Martens) Albertz.

She is survived by the love of her life, Wayne J. Kaiser; sisters, June Schaetzel and Elaine Lamb, both of Fond du Lac; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Arnold Albertz, Jr., Milton Albertz, Doris Roberts, Lois Schwartz, Lincoln “Linc” Albertz, Lorraine Bender, and Evelyn Albertz; and Wayne’s mother, Leona Kaiser, who was very dear to Tootie.

Visitation for Tootie will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main St. in Fond du Lac. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with entombment in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Cemetery to follow.
