Sandra Faye Glass (Fleischfresser)

Sandra Faye Glass (Fleischfresser), age 84, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She
was born on February 21, 1939 in Fargo, North Dakota, daughter of Henry Fleischfresser and Delores
(Steinway). Sandy grew up in Jamestown, North Dakota and graduated from the University of North
Dakota with a degree in teaching. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.
Sandy started her teaching career as a primary school teacher in the St Paul area and lived in White Bear
Lake Minnesota with her husband Marlyn Glass. They relocated to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in 1973 where
Sandy continued as a primary school teacher at Franklin school and later Evans school. After retiring,
Sandy worked part-time at Brauer’s and Partners-by-Design.
Sandy was an avid reader, loved playing cards with her friends, and completing cross-word puzzles.
Sandy travelled extensively including Australia, Hawaii and the Dominican Republic. With her passion for
clothes, shoes and jewelry, she always had a stylish flair. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and
their many adventures, always with laughter.
Sandy is survived by her son Michael, daughter-in-law Robyn, and grand-daughter Charlotte.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at ImmanuelTrinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du lac, WI, 54937. The funeral service will
follow the visitation at church at 11:00 AM. Cremation has taken place
