Scott A. Machmueller

Scott A. Machmueller, age 50 of Fond du Lac passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening in the Town of Pella.

Scott August Machmueller was born on March 3, 1974 in Shawano as the son of Jeff Machmueller and the late Susan (Berwig) Nowak. Scott graduated from Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac and was united in marriage to Melanie Vandensteen. The couple had 2 children Sydney and Blake and later divorced. Scott enjoyed the outdoors; mainly fishing and hunting. He worked as a self-employed painter and for the past couple of years was living and working for Breezy Hill Campground in the Town of Byron. Scott was a do-it-all kind of guy for the campground and loved showing horses for Breezy Hill Thunder on weekends. Scott was blessed to have met Sarah Laubenstein and made many memories over the past 4 years; especially their trips to Nashville. He forever had a soft spot for his dogs and loved playing with and training his black lab Iris.

Survivors include: His Children: Sydney & Blake Machmueller.
Fiance: Sarah Laubenstein and her children: Kilyan, Emmitt, and Ireland.
Father & Step-Mother: Jeff (Kim) Machmueller

Step-Father: Chuck Nowak & Step-Brother: Nathan (Jamie) Nowak.
Sisters: Nicloe (Joe) Reese and their son August and Courtney (Drew) Stilen and their children Charlie and Eliza.
Aunts & Uncles: Bonnie Allen, Bill “Boog” (Debbie) Berwig, Bob Berwig, Lynn (Kevin) Kavanagh, Frank (Becky) Berwig, Violet Boerst, Karen (Jim) Habeck, Kristy (Steve) Beltz.
Also numerous cousins and friends as well as his dog Iris.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother Susan Nowak, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and by aunts & uncles Craig (Carolyn) Berwig, Bert Boerst, and Delores (Evan) Foulke.

A Memorial Service will be held for Scott at 4pm Saturday June 1, 2024 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home (SOUTH LOCATION) 299 S. Main Street, Clintonville, WI 54929. Rev. Andrew Zobel will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2pm until the time of the service.
