Sharon L. Krepline
Sharon L. Krepline, age 71, of Hilbert, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton. She was born to the late Marie (Muthig) and Henry Sauer on April 13, 1943. She grew up in Neenah and graduated from Neenah High School, class of 1961. Upon graduation, she worked at Banta until her marriage. On April 12, 1969, she married Gerhard Krepline in Rantoul, where she was a domestic engineer and they engaged in farming. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2013. They had 2 children: Jeff and Jodi, both of Hilbert. She and Gerhard enjoyed going to polka dances, but she especially liked rock n’ roll music from the fifties. She also liked talking about the good ol’ days growing up in Neenah and going to downtown Appleton on a Friday night. She was an avid listener of WHBY talk radio, and liked watching the news and late night comedies. She will be dearly missed by her children and her cat, Mr. Kitty. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law: LeRoy (Sylvia) Sauer; a brother-in-law: Richard Zemke; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: George (Carol Mae) Krepline, William (Joyce) Krepline, LeRoy (Barb) Krepline, & RoseAnn (Fred) Kozelek. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws: LaVerna & Helmuth Krepline; sister and brother-in-law: Carol (Alton) Basler; a sister: Barbara Zemke; a nephew: Richard Basler; and a brother and sister-in-law: Delores (Anton) Krepline. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul (N6081 W. River Rd Hilbert, WI) with the Rev. J. Patrick Niles officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, March 16, 2015 and on Tuesday at the church from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm. Sharon’s family would like to thank the entire staff of the Chilton Care Center as well as the nurses from Calumet County Hospice for all of the support and care that was provided to their mother.
