Susan Anne Collien

Susan Anne Collien, 68 of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026 in the care of Hospice. Susan was born on January 5, 1958 in Green Bay, WI to Richard Jr. “Dick” and Nancy Odea.
Susan was a 1976 graduate of Lomira High School. After graduation, she continued her education and pursued her dream of being a cosmetologist and later transitioned into the dental field from which she retired in December 2019.
Susan met and married the love of her life, Dale Collien, on June 17, 1978. They have two beautiful children, Kerry (Val) and their two children, Dylan and Griffin of Fond du Lac, Jennifer Collien of Texas and Susan’s beloved furry friend, Jax.
For the past 20 years, Susan loved traveling to Mexico with her husband Dale and the “clique” and their annual trips to Galena in December. Her biggest love was their short getaways to Door County with her family. She also enjoyed going out for dinner with family and friends to various restaurants throughout the area and most recently their Mediterranean Cruise this past Fall to experience her dream of visiting the Lady of Fatima in Portugal. Susan’s Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. Her church and her beliefs were held close to her heart and guided her with grace, kindness and compassion. She will be remembered for her warmth, her steadfast love and the unwavering care she showed to everyone blessed to know her.
Susan’s greatest passion was the love she had for her family and friends, especially her love for her two grandsons, Dylan and Griffin, they truly were her greatest blessings. She loved them so dearly that she never missed attending their various school activities and sporting events.
Susan was the oldest of seven children and is survived by her siblings Rick (Rose), Mary (Dan Deuster), Christy Ramsay, Nan (Greg Wareham), Tim, John (Elizabeth), sister-in-law Mary Ausloos and many nieces and nephews.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Richard Jr “Dick,” nephew Matthew Odea, brother-in-law Ron Ramsay, father-in-law Milton “Bud” Collien, mother-in-law Dorothy Collien and brother-in-law James Ausloos.
Visitation for Susan will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church at 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac. Family and friends are invited to gather in the Narthex from 9-11 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Susan will be laid to rest in Calvary Mausoleum at 686 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac, following the mass.
Susan’s family invites and encourages everyone to come back to the Holy Family Church hall for lunch.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Susan’s memory may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Springs Academy.
