Susan Irene Olson

Susan Irene Olson, 81 of Fond du Lac passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday January 18th, 2025. She was born on August 18th, 1943, to the daughter of the late Harold and Jane Clements. On October 7th, 1967, she married the love of her life William V. Olson at St. Alberts Church in Milwaukee. She worked at Koehring Company, AC Nielsen and the Fond du Lac County Agricultural Service Center.

Susan was a long-time member of Holy Family Parish. She was a servant of God volunteering at Broken Bread every Friday and greeting fellow parishioners at church prior to mass. Susan enjoyed spending time at her cottage on Long Lake watching many sunsets. She also enjoyed gardening, weaving baskets, watching her grandson play sports and spending time with her family. Susan also enjoyed her pets.

She is survived by her husband William Olson, son Scott (Connie) Olson, daughter Carla (Dan) Baldauf, son Evan (Ann) Olson, grandson Aidan Baldauf, one brother Richard Clements, Carol Clements, brother-in-law Roger Peterson along with nieces, nephews, many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Annette Peterson, and mother and father-in-law Arvid and Ruby Olson.

The visitation will be held on Friday January 31st, 2025 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Holy Family Church. The funeral service will follow at 4:00pm on Friday at Holy Family Church. Entombment will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
