Theresa R. “Terry” Mauer

Theresa R. “Terry” Mauer, 75, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Home of Hope on April 13, 2025. She was born October 19, 1949 in Fond du Lac to Ambrose and Cecilia (Albert) Mauer.

Terry worked as a punch press operator at Wells Manufacturing for over 30 years.

Terry loved sports, especially softball and cheering on the Packers. She enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews at various sporting events. Terry liked a good Friday Fish Fry and a ride around the park at night. She preferred her 1996 Dodge to her brand new truck.

Terry is survived by her siblings William G. Utz, Jr., Emily La Savage, Michael (Stephanie) Utz; nieces Alison Utz and Ella Sommerfeld; nephews Dalton (Amber Ziebell) and Hunter (Sarah Rogalla) Utz, Andrew La Savage, Bob Mauer Jr., and Michael Mauer; sister-in-law Mary Mauer; special cousin Barb Ward; as well as other relatives and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents Ambrose and Cecilia, step father William Utz Sr., brother Robert Mauer, and nephew Tony Mauer.

In accordance with Terry’s wishes, there will be no service.

The family would like to give a special thank you to cousin Barb Ward for all of her care.
