Tony M. Moe

Tony M. Moe, 79, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was born on October 18, 1944 to Elroy and Helen (Jones) Moe.

Tony served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965 in Frankfurt and Heidelberg, Germany. Tony grew up in Rice Lake, Wisconsin where he eventually met his wife, Carol Stoik. They were united in marriage on May 14, 1966. Carol passed away on December 29, 2021. They resided in the Rice Lake area until moving to Fond du Lac and welcomed their son, Seely Moe. Several years later they welcomed their daughter, Nicole Moe.

Tony was employed as a machinist, spending most of his career with Giddings and Lewis. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. Tony was a big Packer fan. More than anything, he loved spending time with his wife and grandchildren.

Tony is survived by his two children, Seely (Amanda) Moe and Nicole Moe; three grandchildren, Isabella (16), Kendall (14) and Owen (11); mother Helen; siblings Judy Lammers, Ellis “Bud” (Jodi) Moe, Joan (Lyle) Sandberg, James “Jim” Moe, Jesse (Glory) Moe, Steve (Colleen) Moe, Carey (Char) Moe, Bob (Terri) Moe, and Jon (Amy) Moe; sister-in-law Tammie Moe, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his father Elroy, brothers Paul Moe, Michael “Mick” Moe, sisters Ruth Marie Moe, Abbie Moe, and brother-in-law Dick Lammers.

Services: Tony’s family invites relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 for visitation from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street in Fond du Lac. A short prayer service will be held at 2:00 PM. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Wayside Cemetery in Barron, Wisconsin on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM.

The family would like to give our special thanks to the Fond du Lac Dialysis Team. Their compassionate care for the last seven years was greatly appreciated.
