Vickie Lee Carlson
Vickie Lee Carlson, age 66 of Fond du Lac, passed away at UW Hospital in Madison on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
Born in Milwaukee on November 7, 1956 as the third daughter of George and Yvonne (nee Hooper) Campbell, Vickie was raised in Grafton and went on to graduate from Grafton High School in 1975.
Vickie married David Voigt in 1981, then moved to Random Lake in 1983, where they raised their two beautiful daughters. Vickie and David parted ways in 1993, and in 1998, Vickie moved to Plymouth, Wisconsin.
A seamstress by trade, Vickie loved crafting, sewing, and was essentially a tailor for her daughters and their friends. She made both Jennifer and Katelyn their prom dresses – and went on to make dresses for some of their friends as well.
She had a big heart and was always making things for other people. Vickie’s door was perpetually open to her daughter’s friends anytime they needed somewhere to go. Above all this, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Vickie will be greatly missed by her daughters, Jennifer Stevens-Voigt, and Katelyn (Joseph) St. Antoine. Her three grandchildren, Hunter Musar, Paige St. Antoine, and Joey St. Antoine, will always cherish her memory.
Further surviving Vickie are her parents, George and Yvonne Campbell; her two sisters, Linda (Al) Jansen, and Kathleen (Steve) Kressmer; as well as her nieces, nephews, and all the other people whose lives were impacted by Vickie.
Her family is planning private services, and will celebrate her life at a later date.
Twohig Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Vickie’s arrangements. Additional information and Tribute Wall may be found on myrhum-patten.com.
