Victoria “Vikki” Lynn Abler

Victoria “Vikki” Lynn Abler, 70, of Eden, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on June 22, 2023 after a short battle with terminal lung cancer.

Vikki worked hard all her life, finishing her working career out at Baker Cheese. She always had a spirit for life. She had places to go and people to see. Summer was her favorite season. She loved the heat! She loved the outdoors and being outside as much as possible.

Vikki always believed in holding on tightly to her family and friends and the bonds created from it. She was a very spirited character. She had a strength right up to her last moments of life. She could and did handle anything thrown her way. She faced her last moments as a true warrior. She has now been returned home to be reunited with those she loves that went before us. Rest in Peace, Mama (Vikki).

Vikki is survived by her children: Angel (Dan) Henning, Shannon (Tish) Abler, Jeff (Kim) Abler and Lynn (Mark) Garbisch; her siblings: John (Deb) Uelmen, Betty Young, Jeff (Mary Ann) Uelmen; nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, very special friends to the end, Cindy and Dave Leibl and longtime family friend Cindy Lidicker.

Preceding her in death were her husband and best friend, Stephen John Abler and her parents, John and Dora Uelmen.
