Virginia F. Wanke

Virginia F. Wanke, 85, of Campbellsport went home to her Lord on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at her home. She was born May 12, 1929, the daughter of Edward and Florence (nee Reitz) Loehr. She was baptized, confirmed and her marriages were at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in the Town of Forest where she continued to be a member. For a number of years, Virginia and Dan were members of Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. On Nov. 28, 1951 she married Daniel A. Draeger. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1984. She married David H. Wanke on Apr. 25, 1992. For many years she worked for Glasow & Lietman Jewelers in Fond du Lac. 



Survivors include her husband Dave, her step-children Debra (Paul) Hume, Barbara (Bill) Fults and Scott (Julie) Wanke, her step-grandchildren Jeff, Mike, Calista, James and Kaitlyn, her sisters Viola Poch and Dorothy Poch, her brothers Edward (Gloria) Loehr and George (Sandy) Loehr, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Along with her first husband Daniel, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her step-son Brian and his wife Yaney, her brothers-in-law Gordon Poch and Lawrence Poch and her sister-in-law Helen Draeger. 



Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29th at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Forest. Rev. Mark Barenz will officiate and burial will follow in Forest Cemetery in the Town of Forest. 



Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 29th from 10:00 AM until time of service at the CHURCH.
