Vivian K. Knipple

Vivian K. Knipple, 95, passed away at Adelaide Place in Fond du Lac on August 8, 2026. She was born on September 14, 1930 to James and Marie (Fields) Ryan.

She attended Campbellsport High School.

On July 23, 1947, Vivian was united in marriage to the love of her life Robert “Bob” Knipple, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden. They celebrated 70 years of marriage before his death in 2017.

Vivian was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Eagles Club. She was also an avid Packers fan. She enjoyed tending to her garden and her flowers. Time with family was important to Vivian, whether it be a feast of a picnic in Eden or going to a supper club for dinner. She enjoyed taking care of children and was the neighborhood babysitter. Vivian enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone who walked through the door. Vivian loved to polka.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Patricia Sinotte (fiancé Terry Butz), one grandson, Shawn (Ashley) Sinotte, and two great granddaughters, Briella and Savanna, and special friend Dale Diette. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Bob, two sisters Marge Langhoff and Evonna Kiester, and a brother Tommy Ryan.

Vivian’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place following the visitation at 2:00 PM. Vivian will be then laid to rest at Calvary Mausoleum next to her husband Bob.
