One Person Dead in Town of Waupun Accident

One person is
dead after a rollover accident in the Town of
Waupun early Sunday morning. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department received a
call shortly before 6am for a one-vehicle rollover crash on State Highway 26
just north of
Willow Creek Road.
The car was being driven north on Highway 26 by 18-year-old Jonathan J. Vogel
of Milwaukee when he lost control and went into the ditch where it overturned
and caught fire. Vogel escaped with non-life threatening injuries and was
transported to
Waupun
Memorial Hospital

for treatment. The passenger, 21-year-old Whitney C. Domer of
Oshkosh, was trapped inside the car and died
at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the
Fond du Lac County
Sheriff’s Office.

treatment. The passenger, a 21-year-old woman from Oshkosh, was trapped inside
the car and died at the scene. Names of those involved in the crash have not
been released. The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County
Sheriff’s Office.
