Oostburg Double Homicide Suspect Charged

A 41-year-old Oostburg man has been charged for the shooting deaths of two people at the end of last month. Bond was set at $500,000 cash when Sergio Ochoa was charged in Sheboygan County Court Tuesday for the deaths of Luis Garcia and Fernando Lopez. The shootings happened at the home on North 10^th Street in Oostburg on July 30^th.  When police arrived Ochoa was gone, but he turned himself in at the Sheboygan Police Department a few hours later. A witness heard arguing over money, and then gunshots.  Later Ochoa told police he was scared and didn’t mean to do what he did.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 16^th.
