Oostburg Man Bound Over For Trial In Double Homicide Case

The 41-year-old Oostburg man charged with the shooting deaths of two men has been bound over for trial. A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of Sergio Ochoa during a preliminary hearing in Sheboygan County Court this week. He is charged with the shooting deaths of Luis Garcia and Fernando Lopez. The shootings happened at a home on North 10th Street in Oostburg on July 30th.  When police arrived Ochoa was gone, but he turned himself in at the Sheboygan Police Department a few hours later. A witness heard arguing over money, and then gunshots.  Later Ochoa told police he was scared and didn’t mean to do what he had done.
