Open House Set For New Highway Department Building

The public is invited to tour the new Fond du Lac County Highway Department Facilities during an upcoming Open House. 

Fond du Lac County Executive Allen Buechel issued a press release stating the open house and ribbon cutting is set for Saturday, February 29, 2020. The new 135,000 sq. ft. structure will be open for tours from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm that day, with the Ribbon Cutting program set to begin at 11:15 am. 

Tours will be available and the public is invited to inspect the $26 million project that features a large cold storage facility, separate garage area for Senior Services vehicles, and the Sheriff’s Office impound garage.
