Oshkosh Police Investigating Death of 19-year-old Man

Oshkosh Police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old
man that happened early this (Sunday) morning. Officers were called to the Ohio
Street Bridge just after 4 AM for a report of a man who had jumped from the
bridge and into the Fox River. The Oshkosh Fire Department along with the
Winnebago County Sheriff Dive Team responded to assist in the search for the
man, who’s body was found in the water around 6 am. The man was pronounced dead
at that time. The Ohio Street Bridge was closed temporarily, but has since re-opened
to traffic. Police are continuing their investigation into the death. Anyone
