Oshkosh Police Investigating Man’s Body found at Scene of House Fire

Oshkosh Police are investigating a house fire that happened
Saturday evening where the body of a man was found inside the home. Police
Officers and the Oshkosh Fire Department responded to the home in the 1100
block of High Avenue just before 5:30 pm Saturday. Firefighters entered the
home and located the 71-year-old man dead. The man was the only resident at the
home. No one else was injured. The cause of the fire is not known at this time,
and anyone with information is asked to call police at 920-236-5700.
