Oshkosh West High School To See Higher Police Presence Friday

Parents and students can expect a higher police presence when they arrive at Oshkosh West High School Friday.

The move comes after emergency calls were made to the Oshkosh PD both Wednesday and Thursday by the West High School resource officer.

A fight among students broke out Wednesday, prompting the call for emergency assistance. The high school was on hold for roughly 30 minutes Thursday afternoon after another call for emergency assistance was made following student disruptions in the hallway. Both incidents remain under investigation.
