Overnight Fond du Lac fire damages house – displaces occupants

The Red Cross is assisting seven people who were displaced by a house fire overnight, Friday, April 18, 2025 in the City of Fond du Lac.

Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue as well as City of Fond du Lac Police were dispatched to the report of a house fire at 2:25 AM at 89 Harrison Place. Upon arrival, crews found the upper balcony in the rear of the house fully engulfed in flames with fire extending to the inside of the house.

Firefighters quickly deployed a hose and knocked the fire on the outside down, while other crews went inside with another hose. Within an hour the fire was completely out with overhaul being done to clear the house of smoke and make sure all hot spots were out.

According to scanner chatter from the scene, the Red Cross was called to assist seven people that were displaced by the fire.

At this time no cause has been released and no injuries were reported.
