Pack Bests Broncos, Moves to 3-0 on the Year

Green Bay 27, Denver 16

–Aaron Rodgers threw for 245 yards and a touchdown, and Aaron Jones added two scores on the ground as the Packers defeated the Broncos at Lambeau Field on Sunday to improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2015. Two of Green Bay’s free agent signings on defense continued to prove their worth in the win on Sunday – as Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith combined for five sacks of Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco. In addition, rookie first round pick Rashan Gary recorded a sack and recovered a fumble and fellow first round safety Darnell Savage got his first NFL interception in the win. It’s a quick turnaround for the Packers, as they host Philadelphia for Thursday Night Football this week. Kickoff Thursday is at 7:20 pm.

Detroit 27, Philadelphia 24

–Jamal Agnew’s 100-yard kickoff return in the first quarter sparked the Lions to the road win over the Eagles. Detroit hosts unbeaten Kansas City next Sunday

Minnesota 34, Oakland 14

–Dalvin Cook rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown – his third straight 100 yard game – as the Vikings defeated the Raiders at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Vikings visit the Bears next Sunday
