Pedestrian killed in Oshkosh after struck by commercial vehicle

Oshkosh Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a commercial vehicle.

The crash happened around 4:12 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, August 18, 2026, at the intersection of High Avenue and North Main Street.

The pedestrian was transported by Oshkosh Fire Department paramedics to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, where the victim was later pronounced dead.

Members of the Oshkosh Police Crash Investigation Team and Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene.

Police have not released additional information about the crash.
